Ways to fix my credit after foreclosure?
We just ended up getting a foreclosure. This situation Horrie but could not be avoided and still be able to eat. My question is what are the best proven ways to fix your credit after foreclosure? Because to be honest, now that the house is gone we are doing much, much better. Please only if they commit can help. Please time. Thank you very much! That helps a lot and makes me feel better knowing that you are not alone in this situation! Thanks again
We are also going in a foreclosure because they were moved to a different state and the house has not sold after being on the market for 18 monhs. We have consulted a lawyer, because we are not behind anything but home. They have told us to make payments perfect in all other lines of credit for 24 months after the execution mortgage and we can buy back in time. He also told us to ensure that all our lines of credit are well worth paying, or at least below 50% of the credit line before you buy. This increases your credit score. We have also been advised to continue to charge our credit cards for gasoline and food, but to pay the balance each month. We had credit before foreclosure perfet started and our score has dropped over 200 points in the last five months, but I have said with the economy and what is happening in the housing market that we will be able to own again soon. Good luck and keep head high. Nobody could have forseen what would happen to the market and I rest well at night knowing I did everything possible to avoid foreclosure, but I can not fix the economy. We bought our house $ 297.900 in June '06 and is currently assessing $ 180,000 in mint condition. You just can not solve this problem. We had more than five bids and the bank has refused to all who offered to hand over the keys and the bank refused that too. I recommend that you talk with a mortgage broker who can pull the individual credit and tell you what you have to pay specific attention to be able to buy again. They will do for free and you can concentrate on exactly what you need instead of guessing. Good luck and God bless!
