foreclosure va hud foreclosures
Home First-time buyers?

My husband and I are ready to buy our first home. Just want to make sure have not taken advantage of the thread or process. Any advice on this? We're not too worried about the loan process b / c it is in the Air Force and we are getting VA loan to a fixed rate low. Any tips to find the perfect home? We've seen a lot of houses foreclosure HUD are bad for enter? When I think I think HUD assisted living, but come to find out the previous owners just FHA loans and households were excluded and to HUD. Any advice and guidance at all is appreciated! Thanks!

I bought two HUD homes and they were fine. I had to spend a little more than I expected. Later I realized that I paid almost exactly as much as I would have paid for having a nice home in the same neighborhood. I think I'll buy the house nice if I had to do it again. Repairs cost me $ 7,000 and that was all cash. That's long after you have used the money for closing costs. I am a veteran, but I've never used my privileges VA loan. VA loans are more expensive than other loans. That does not mean they are bad. Its a good feature is that you do not need any money below. That's fine if you have no money. If you have money, the other loans cost much less. But do not worry about the loans. I think you have the right attitude. Many people miss all the fun of hunting for the house because they are "concerned" about making a mistake. Will it make a lot of mistakes. That is guaranteed. But most people wish they could have enjoyed the process. I hope you can. The world is yours.
