I have seen a house that I really like that is under foreclosure. It has been on the market since September of 2008. The asking price right now is only $119,000, which is very good considering the house started at $164,000 last September. Since the house has been foreclosed on, does anyone know if I could talk them down even lower in price?

What are some of the repercutions of a foreclosure? Will I be able to rent a place if my house is foreclosed on? Will I be asked to pay the remaining balance on the loan of my house?

I just signed a new lease and when I checked the mailbox it was full of mail advertisments offering services for the foreclosure listing. I went online to check the public records and the mortgage company had filed Lis Pendens in September. What do I do?

Has anyone else been a victim of foreclosure and received location assistance? How was the process?

We are currently renting a property that went into foreclosure. They told us we could stay or we could leave and receive relocation assistance. The only stipulation was we had to clean the whole property, even removing stuff belonging to the original landlord. It just seems to good to be true to get money for “nothing.” Has anyone else done this successfully or is it a scam to get us to do the bank’s dirty work?
